Will this really keep my child away from screens?
Picked this up as a birthday gift for my niece and it was an instant hit. The glow board is bright, fun, and way cooler in person than the pictures show. My drawing actually came out looking pretty good on it, and she absolutely loved the whole thing. It’s easy to use, wipes clean fast, and the colors really pop. Definitely one of those gifts kids keep going back to.
Pros:
Bright, vivid glow that looks awesome in the dark
Kids love drawing and erasing over and over
Rechargeable, so no wasting batteries
Lightweight and gift-ready
Cons:
Markers could be a bit brighter
Needs frequent cleaning to keep the board crystal clear
My little girls liked it. It’s not rainbow though, that could be misleading
The only thing I didn’t like was the difficulty wiping it, even with water. That could be a good thing for kids though
I bought this LED doodle board thinking it would just be a fun toy, but it’s actually become one of the favorite things in our shop’s waiting area. The kids love how bright and colorful the drawings look — it’s almost like neon signs coming to life. The markers wipe off easily and the different light settings make every picture look new again. I also like that it’s rechargeable, so I’m not constantly replacing batteries. The stand feels sturdy, and it’s lightweight enough to move around if needed. Totally worth it for how much fun it brings every time families come by.
I am giving this LED drawing board 5 stars partly because two students with whom I work both gave it 5 stars. I will include their comments later in this review. The board works very well and is easy to use, charge, and clean up, and mostly I purchased the LED drawing board to use with students. Some of my students are on the Autism spectrum, and I wanted to see if this LED light board would be of interest to my reluctant writers and readers. I wanted to see if it would encourage them to trace and write with the colorful lighting. I currently use the board with a reluctant reader and writer to list the spelling and vocabulary words during class. The student now shows a willingness to hold a marker and trace letters and words on the LED board (which she never expressed an interest in while using regular paper and markers / pencils). I count this as a great success for the development of writing and reading willingness for this student. And here are the written reviews from two of my other students who are not on the spectrum. Both students give the LED drawing board 5 stars, and these are their reviews: “I love the vibrant colors and the amazing LED’s! It’s super satisfying!!! -from 9-year-old (the first one to test it out).” and “It’s so colorful and creative!” (from an 8th-grader).
This LED drawing board is such a fun way to get creative! The neon colors really pop under the lights, and the 7 different glow modes make every drawing look amazing. I love that it’s rechargeable, so there are no messy cords—perfect for taking anywhere. The acrylic surface is smooth and easy to clean with the included spray bottle and cloth. My kids have been using it nonstop for doodles and glowing notes, and it’s also great as a message board or night light. Definitely a great gift idea for birthdays or holidays—fun, creative, and totally mess-free!
